For those of you who don't know, I started this blog for my Social Media in PR class at school. I was excited, but definitely a little nervous at first. What would I write about? Would anyone even read it? 20 posts later and here we are.
If you asked me before taking the class if I wanted to start a blog, I would've 100% said no because I was worried about what people would say and think about me. I feel completely different about it now. I am so happy I decided to take the class because I probably would've never had the confidence to start a blog on my own. I absolutely love having a place to get my words and ideas down and I never would've thought I'd enjoy it this much.
Some of my favorite posts to write were the Trader Joe's ones, food recommendations, and especially my post to college seniors. I never expected that post to reach as many people as it did, but the power of social media proved me wrong. Over 1,000 people have read about my experience with how the Corona Virus completely changed my senior year as well as millions of others. Without this blog, I probably would've never shared my story with anyone.
If I have given you one piece of advice, taught you something new, convinced you to try a new restaurant, or made you smile, then I think this blog was successful one. Thank you to everyone who's stuck along with me for this blog. I've enjoyed sharing my thoughts and opinions with you all more than I could've imagined. Although this blog was started for a class, don't worry, I fully intend to keep up with it after graduation! So, as always, thanks for stopping by and keep an eye out for a blog post coming soon!
