Don't be scared by the title of this post. I am by no means a makeup artist. I've been wearing makeup since probably 6th grade and have basically tried every product under the sun since then. I think I've finally mastered a quick and easy routine that works for me so let's call this "Lazy Girl Makeup". If you are constantly short on time, but like to look presentable, then these products might just work for you!
1. Dry Shampoo
This has honestly saved my life. I have naturally wavy hair that I don't mind sometimes, but unfortunately it can get pretty frizzy so I end up straightening it a lot. My hair tends to also get oily pretty quickly so to save my second-day straight hair I like to use dry shampoo! My favorite for years has been Batiste Instant Hair Refresh Dry Shampoo in the scent "Original". All you have to do is section your hair, spray some on your roots, massage it in, and style!
2. Hair Masks
I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty new to the world of hair masks so I haven't tried a whole bunch, but from what I've tried I think I found a favorite. As someone who styles their hair almost every day with heat, my hair gets pretty dry. Hair masks basically give a little life and moisture to your hair, which is just what your hair needs after suffering through so much heat. My favorite right now is Garnier Whole Blends Hair Mask in the scent "Honey Treasures".
3. Foundation
I have pretty dry skin so trying out any new face makeup is usually a scary thing for me. Once I find something that works I usually stick to it and that is exactly how I am with foundation. I don't always wear foundation when going out, but when I want a little extra coverage I use Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in "Matte + Poreless". This foundation line has a huge shade range, so you are bound to find a shade that works for you!
4. Concealer
When I don't want to put on a whole face of foundation, but still want a little coverage, I like to use concealer under my eyes and in any problem areas. My favorite concealer is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. This product is lightweight but still gives good coverage. Again, my skin is sensitive and this concealer has been working for me for years so I can't see myself switching any time soon.
5. Liquid Eyeliner
If I'm being honest, I am 22 years old and just learned how to use liquid eyeliner. For years I would try and I could never get the perfect line, until I was recommended Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen. This eyeliner has a felt tip which makes it extremely easy to use, plus this will only cost you around $2.99!
So, these are my favorite makeup products that make my life just a little easier. I hope you decide to try some of these out and if you do, let me know how you like them! Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for my next post later this week!
